Actually it is not that cheap. It will cost you about $139.99 for
Windows XP Pro OEM from TigerDirect
Canada. That's a ripe off, instead of
other good-reliable operating system such as Linux/*BSD sells for
free. Unfortunately you need Windows in order to develop Windows C++
application.
Eventhough I use MSVC compiler in my office. I can not afford that for
my home business development, not to mention that I dont get used to
text editing mode in MSVC. It sucks. The following are my
implementation to cut cost of Windows development.
